On the onesie I used a square with a blanket stitch around it. It did not show up too well with the black thread but I like that stitch. Then I added his initials in Kool Curlz font from NobbieNeezKids
On this burp cloth I used the Taylor font appliqued initial from Lynnie Pinnie
The back of the burp is black gingham.
Sock monkey from somewhere....can't remember. He was one of about 8 in the package and I had used one for a birthday shirt in February.
And a black pail with red lettering and white polkadots.
I received an invitation to a baby shower later this month and the invitation was done in my favorite colors....black, white and red. The theme is a Sock Monkey. So I pulled out all my black, white and red fabrics that I love and my Sock Monkey embroidery designs and had the best time sewing for this little fellow who has not arrived yet. I made two burp cloths, a onesie and a pail. I may still make him some other things but I couldn't wait to show you what I made for him. I love gingham.
