Christmas Weekend with Grayson

As most of you know, we had our adorable 2 year old grandson for the weekend. He is such a joy to have around....don't I sound like a typical grandmother? We did as many fun things as you can do with a little one. One of my favorite things to do when he comes is to take a long ride in the golf cart. He loves to do that and is in awe of everything we see in our neighbor. We see squirrels, dogs, ducks, horses, trucks, motorcycles and everything we adults take for granted. He makes me notice and enjoy the small things. This picture was taken at the Christmas Parade in our quaint downtown. It had everything he loves......anything with wheels...firetrucks, trucks of all kinds, golf carts, motorcycles and bands. He broke out dancing a couple of times and had everyone in stitches around us.
He wore his cute hat for all of 30 seconds before jerking it off and throwing it to the ground. Sorry mommy.....I tried to keep the wind and cold out of his ears.

This was Saturday morning after our long ride through the neighborhood. He can spot an airplane a mile away and hear a train 3 miles away!

I was trying to get a great picture in front of Mickey and Minnie for Mommy and Daddy but he had other important things on his mind (trains, planes and automobiles) rather than posing for me. My dear friend makes me the most wonderful yard ornaments for Grayson. She's the greatest. Can't wait for you to come visit again Grayson!

Ornaments for Sunday School Teachers

Grayson will be here this weekend and he always goes to church with us. So he needs to take his Sunday School teachers a little Christmas gift. Part of his gift will be this personalized ornament. He loves his teachers and I know they love him.

A snowflake ornament. For all you SCAL users, this snowflake is a built-in design. It can be found in the winter shapes.
I ordered these boxes from an on-line company called ULine to put my ornaments in for gift-giving. They are the perfect size for the large ornaments. This is how they look......plain and boring but.....

you can add all you want to make them look festive.
Merry Christmas Sunday School teachers!
We love all you do for our children and grandkidos!

More Aprons!

There are going to be some little bakers busy this Christmas. Kaitlynn's mom ordered these for her nieces. I love these aprons because there is so much area to sew on and they are just sooo cute with the ruffle on the bottom. It's easy to make them adorable.

This design is from PlanetApplique and is called WhirlyBird. I was able to use the 6x10 design on the apron. It has two scallopes and a bird in the center.

Kiley is a cowgirl so her aunt wanted something to fit her personality. What else but these girly girl cowboy boots. It is a PlanetApplique design, too. I used my Embird font for both of the girls' names. Gotta put them in the mail tomorrow!

Madalynn and Kiley are ready to bake some holiday cookies and will be soooo precious in their aprons.

Emma's Christmas Outfits

Emma's mom wanted her initials put on this adorable corduroy romper. She wanted the classic monogram font...fancy font. I made the middle initial 3" and the other initials 2".

Beautiful outfit for a little doll

This is her fun outfit. The leggings have non-traditional Christmas colors in them so I used pink for the bow on the present and for her initial. I was unsure out it would look but it all matches and I think she will be sooooo cute.

Coolcurlz for her initial
