Halloween Party

Our office at work is "partying" all day tomorrow.....translation: eating all day!
My contribution is Candy Corn Cupcakes, Treat Bags of goodies and Spooky Mini Peanut Butter Cups.
It may be hard to see but there are three layers of color...orange, yellow and white. Just a little fall touch to triple chocolate cupcakes. I used a chocolate cake mix, chocolate pudding and threw in a handful of chocolate chips. Move over Paula Deen....there's enough fat grams in there to last until next Halloween.

Goodie Bags filled with more chocolate :)

Mini peanut butter cups with mini fun toppers. I needed a 1" punch but I didn't have one so I cut them all out by hand! These are a fun last minute treat for friends.

More From KandA!

In case you missed Monday's post I'm spotlighting a new Mom and Daughter team. They make beautiful cakes and cookies and other exciting projects! Hop over to their new blog and follow the girls. I can't wait to see what they will be sharing next! And A tells me we may have a "give away" in the new future. Oh I can almost taste those yummy iced cookies! Here's what A had to share.

Hello to all you Bella & Bambino followers! We are so happy to be "spotlighted" if you will on this awesome, talented blog! We've been a follower of Mrs. Karen's since around May of this year when were "introduced" through cookies. What better way, right? We are new to the blogging business but we are not new to crafting. My mother has been crafting for as long as she can remember and I recall growing up in a home where there was always a project going on. Fast forward to when I became a mother to a little girl and crafting took on a whole new meaning to us. We baked our first cake in November of 2007 for my daughter's 2nd birthday. We scoured the internet for information, bought a few supplies and went to work. It still makes a giggle a little when we think back that it took us two full days to bake and decorate a small 10" round cake! So that's us! Hope that you'll join us as we flip flop back and forth to baking and sewing and everything in between!
See you around!

Meet KandA

Love this cake! Isn't it perfect for a Sweet 16 Birthday?
I'm not 16 but I'd love it for my birthday, too.

I met this young, talented and creative lady on-line after I met her mother in person. They have a mom and daughter venture where they make the most beautiful cookies and cakes. I have tasted them and they are also super delicious! I want to tempt you with a picture of one of their creations but please come back later this week when "A" shares her story and more pictures of her fabulous cakes, cookies and parties.

Grayson's 2nd Birthday and Christmas Sneek Peek

Grayson had a celebration Saturday for his 2nd Birthday! His mommy did a wonderful job as always with her savvy party planning. She is so talented and creative. Check out her blog this week so you can see all the details of his Blue and Green TRAIN Party!

Elf shoes!! Just had to stop sewing pumpkins, footballs and baby things for a minute and try a new design. I used non-traditional Christmas colors.....rosey pink and green although this would look so cute, too in reds and greens. I have a little girl in mind for this one so if she likes it I will add her name in green or maybe pink and green.
Ok I did it now back to fall sewing......LSU, Saints, pumpkins, etc.
Have a relaxing rest of the weekend :)) Got a guest coming this week to my blog so don't miss her!

Merry Gingerbread for Leah

What's not to love about gingerbread people at Christmas? Leah's aunt wanted a cute Christmas shirt with a bow so this is what I chose. I will have other designs for Christmas, also. November 1 is that last day to order Christmas shirts and gifts. I will sew during November to have everything ready for December 1 so let me put you on the Christmas list. Thanks to everyone for the fall orders!

What an adorable gingerbread face! I can't believe that this is my 200th post. It has been fun connecting with so many old friends and new ones.

Burps and Boxers

Megan ordered burps for Emily. She knew exactly what she wanted but left the colors for
me to choose. I used pinks, greens, brown and turquoise and a little red.

These items are for 2 separate babies. I just thought they looked good together.
The boxers for Ross are stitched in Green Bean font and Santa Baby is Sweet Tart.

The Taylor font is one of my all time favorites. I have many requests for it. I put a little different look to this one. I used 2 colors on the font for a little pizazz!

Grayson, Alex & Chocolate Cake

My daughter picked out this design for the boys. They will wear these shirts to the Pumpkin Patch tomorrow. She thinks the design fit them to T.
The design is from Applique Alley and the font is Green Bean from 8 Claws and a Paw.

Won't they look so cute playing in the pumpkins wearing their matching shirts?

A friend at school made our office an amazing chocolate cake and she gave us the recipe. I will gladly share it with you, too. It starts with a cake mix and ends with frosting in a can. It is simple but delicious! You gotta give it a try.

Yummy! I will have to hide it from Grayson. Everything sweet is a "cookie" and he likes "cookies" as much as I do. Happy Weekend!

Cash Hudson

I've been sewing for a little fellow named Cash Hudson. His mom and dad are big CATS, LSU and Saints fans so that's what I made for him. I'm not through yet but wanted to show you what I have finished. First we had to have a Halloween onesie and then a pumpkin shirt to wear to the Pumpkin Patch and Farm this weekend. Then on to the sports burp cloths. I will be happy to share sites and fonts if anyone wants that information. I'm just toooo tired to list it all right now.
