Finishing Up

Beach Towel for Ali's brother.....I love this shark!

Remember JAWS :)

A friend at school wanted this design for her little girl.  Her brother plays on the Viper's Team and she is their #1 fan so they call her the Queen Viper.  This design is perfect for her.

Can you see the crystals on the crown?  I think they add some extra sparkle!

An Easter pail

and another Easter pail
I've been working on 7 shirts for families going to Disney World over Easter break.  I am almost finished with those.  Thankfully I was given plenty of time to work on those.  Also, have to finish a Birthday bib for a little boy turning 1.
Have a great week!

Miscellaneous Projects

I've have a hard week but a good week and now it's the weekend!  These are some projects I did this week but had to "clean them up" but they are really finished.  If you don't embroider you may not realize that the backs of embroidered items have to be clipped and trimmed and stabilizers removed.  It can require as much time as the actual stitching.....it's not my favorite part of embroidering but a necessary one to make the finished item pretty on both sides.

A good friend of mine had her second granddaughter born recently.  I thought the precious little girls needed Big Sis & Lil Sis outfits.  I used the Candy Dots circle and modified it a bit.  I added those words, a heart and their names.

Onesie for Baby Brooklyn

Side by side......Big & Lil Sis

Lizzie wanted beach towels for a brother and sister who both have birthdays in April.  This is for sister......an adorable smiling whale.

Brother may get a shark....gotta work on that today

And for Baby Sloan an Easter burp cloth.  I wanted something sweet & feminine for Easter Sunday.

Basket of Love Continued

If you read my post last week you may remember the HIS/HERS bath towels and Happy Easter kitchen towels I did for a fundraiser for my son's friend at work who was diagnosed with cancer.  I wanted to finish it this weekend and get it to him so they could look at the basket I put together.  I worked late into Friday night so I could finish it.  When I sent pictures to my son the next morning he told me the young lady they were doing the fundraiser for had passed away during the night.  She was young and left two children and her husband.  Her co-workers still plan to have the big Fundraiser scheduled in April and I'm praying they raise a lot of money to help her family.  This is my Basket of Love finished.

Bunnies, bunnies and more bunnies.........

Bunny towels, bunny dishes, bunny note cards, bunny candy........

And wrapped up in a Bunny Pail

I pulled out the Cricut and cut a Bunny, some rickrack and a bunch of polka dots.
On a happier note.....Grayson came to Bella's house Saturday morning.  We played and played outside all day.  His newest interest is Alex's Yamaha 4 wheeler and Papa Isa's hat.

He rode and rode this thing all day and he got to visit with 3 great grandparents!
We also made a trip to Marble Slab Creamery :)

What a cutie!

Shabby Chic Circles Apron

Lizzie is having a birthday lunch for two friends and she wanted these khaki aprons personalized for them.  I wanted to add as much color and frill to them as I could.  I used a new background called "Shabby Chic Circles" and added their names.  I thought the background was a little sparse so I added two more circles.  I still wanted them more feminine so I ruffled some matching ribbon to finish it up.

Love Basket

My son and his co-workers are having a BIG fundraiser for a friend who has been diagnosed with cancer.  They asked me to donate a basket of "goodies" to be raffled off for this friend.  So I'm working on filling my basket with things that are "generically" monogrammed.....like these His & Hers Towels.
I picked these up awhile back and added the lettering in green in the Fantini Swoop font.

Everyone can use Easter towels for the kitchen so these are going in the basket, too.
I have to have it finished for the weekend so I've got to get busy putting it all together.

Peace-Love-PES

Tonight I wanted to do something fun, stress-free and different so this is what I came up with.  Most of you know that after 11 years of being a black and gold Wampus CAT I am now a Red Devil.  So I needed something red, white & black.  This is just for fun.
I found this red "glittery" fabric at Hobby Lobby and turned it in to a Peace sign on my black warm-up jacket.

Have a wonderful Wednesday and enjoy this beautiful weather!

BigBrothersaurus

Big Brother shirt for Grayson
I tried to select colors that would work for a boy and a girl.  Sloan's LilSistersaurus onesie is next in the same colors.
This design has lots of possibilities.....BirthdayBoyasaurus, Graysonasaurus, & on and on.
Fun!

Candy Dots For Sloan

Sloan is almost 1 month old so this is her onesie to celebrate her first month.
I will make her one for each month until her 1st Birthday.  I added # 1 and removed a few circles and added Month.

You'll be seeing this design a lot.  I love it and can think of many ways to use it.

Hooded Towels

This hooded towel completes the order for Baby Emiry.  This hooded towel is very colorful.  I used a raspberry towel for the body and the white hand towel with raspberry stripes for the hood.  The design is called Candy Dots and that's just what it looks like.  I used raspberry pink, lime green, yellow-gold and orange thread for the dots which just happened to match the striped fabric.
The design is from LynniePinnie and the font is WhoaNelly.
Sloan's Easter hooded towel.  The precious Bunny is from GlitzyStitches.
The digitizing on this design is perfect. However, it had 20 thread changes which made for a lot of stopping and starting but I think he's a cutie and I forgot to add a bow to his ear!  So as soon as I do he will become a she :)

Baby Emiry

I had a large order for Baby Emiry .......3 onesies & 3 burp cloths and a few other things so I decided to do the onesies and burps as matching sets.
Using my favorite shade of pink I used the Bella font and did her initials on the onesie and in a circle on the burp cloth.
Then finished this sweet pink look with a small satin ruffle on the neck of the onesie and the bottom of the burp.
Just had to have one purple and gold set for Baby Emiry's Dad.

Since her nursery colors are black & pink I used those colors for the last set.
Scroll frame from Embroitique & Fancy KK font.  I added a little black jumbo rickrack on this onesie and ruffled ribbon on the burp.
